Notes from the coach
We are delighted to launch a brand new programme in conjunction with Badminton England with experienced coach Gareth Thompson. This will appeal to young people aged 6-11 years, but this is not a fixed age grouping and can be used to teach beginner activity to all new players. The 7 week course covers stage 1 and 2 of the pathway, the primary goal is for players to have fun whilst developing the basic badminton fundamentals. These stages introduce fundamental movement skills; badminton footwork, hand eye coordination techniques and basic grips and will progress those on to stage 2 who have already attended. This course is non-refundable.
