Main purpose was to lay permeable tarmac with a coat of bitumen. On the main photo you observe they have made a start on the far left.

Tarmacadam surface fully in place!

A feature of the week was the mixed weather. At times the work continued during heavy rain and at one point hail!

NEXT MOVE:

A period of inactivity is required for “curing” the surface, involving the bitumen oils evaporating and the surface hardening.

Fosse, the contractor, is aiming to lay the artificial grass over the Easter weekend.
