Walking Tennis is for anyone that wants to play tennis, but at their own pace. No running or jumping and you can let the ball bounce twice. Less speed but just as much fun! Ideal for anybody looking to build their confidence, returning from injury, or would just like a bit more time getting to the ball.
Walking Tennis offers a slower format of the traditional game by introducing simple rules to make it less physically demanding, easier to learn, but just as much fun. This session is played on a smaller court indoors with softballs and modified equipment. Our Walking Tennis programme is designed by our Head Coach to cater for those with health related issues such as Parkinson's. Our session includes lots of opportunities for social interaction, it is informal, fun and includes coffee, tea and cake in our lounge afterwards.
