Visually Impaired Tennis

The Northumberland Club has established itself as home to the North East Blind and Visually Impaired Tennis Club and holds sessions most Sundays throughout the year. The sessions are led by a combination of coaches and volunteers. New players and volunteers are always welcome and you can be guaranteed of being made to feel at home within a friendly and supportive environment. Every session is followed by a relaxing drink in the bar and many social events are held throughout the year.

In May each year the Club holds the North East Visually Impaired Open tennis tournament for players all over the UK, and it is now firmly established as one of the most popular events on the VI calendar.
