Club
For members, the Tennis Club Championships are a ‘must enter’ event. The championships are held over a number of weeks and culminate in a finals day celebration and social event. Regular Saturday clubplay events are also held during the year (Indoor and outdoor) and are concluded in the bar!

Juniors
The Northumberland Club offers a competitive environment for its junior members should they wish to compete. Under the supervision of Head Professional, John Henderson, the club holds a 'Masters Series' of mini red and mini orange events throughout the year, which all juniors are encouraged to participate in. This cumulates in a finals day at the end of the season which is always a lot of fun!

The Club also hosts many
regional and national tournaments which cater for juniors of all standards. Our panel of coaches will offer advice as to which tournaments are most suitable for a particular player.

Regional
The Northumberland Club is fortunate to host the South Northumberland Open, Northumberland Open and the Northumberland County Closed events each year. These events all have local and handicap events attached to them to encourage those of all levels to compete. These tournaments give members an ideal opportunity to meet players from other local clubs, and many lifelong friendships have been made during these events.

National
The Northumberland Club currently plays host to Aegon British Tour events. The tour provides a circuit of tournaments designed to complement the International Calendar, giving up and coming players the opportunity to gain experience in their quest to become professional tennis players as well as those already competing on the national and international stage.

International
The Northumberland Club has been a regular venue for hosting the Aegon Men's GB Pro-Series, an event which is part of the ITF Pro Circuit & ATP Challenger Tour taking place in Great Britain. This level of competition features many of the worlds up and coming players who are looking to progress to compete on the main ATP tour. The Northumberland Club is now established as a venue for a European qualifying event for the prestigious Girls Junior Federation Cup which takes place in late July each year.
