Hope you have all had a great summer holiday.  Please feel free to pass this on to your volunteers, players and others at your venue (females 16+) who may have an interest in the below opportunity.  The programme’s aim is to inspire more Women and Girls into tennis and linked to research that there are only 23% female coaches across the Country.  I’ve also attached some photos and She Rallies logo for you to use on social media. 

The LTA is delighted to announce a free She Rallies Fun Days Course and Festival, taking place on Sunday September 29th between 10-3pm at Sunderland Tennis Centre (SR3 1PD).  Please note males can attend the course but will not be eligible to apply for kit.

The course is aimed at women (16+) and there is no experience needed prior to the course.  Following the course all participants can apply for a free kit bag through the LTA worth £300!  There are limited spaces so please sign up sooner rather than later.

The event will include free She Rallies Girls Fun Day's training between 10am-12pm, incorporating lots of 'tennisy' based activities aimed at any age and level of tennis ability, along with incorporating fun ways to deliver recreational competition. We will also show you how to run drop in sessions using whatever space, time and equipment you have available. These days are great for bringing girls together and for boosting your numbers at your venue!

Following the course all attendees will help deliver the North East She Rallies Festival, where girls aged 10 and under will take part in a range of fun based and competitive activities. This will take place between 12.30-3pm.
