Morpeth teams win promotion!

This year has been a successful one with several of our tennis teams winning promotion.
Men’s first team: played 6 won 6. Finishing top of division D and securing promotion into division C of the Northumberland and Durham Tennis league.
Men’s second team: played 6 won 5. Finishing second in division F1 and securing promotion into division E2 of the Northumberland and Durham Tennis league.
Men’s Vets 1: played 6 won 6. Finishing top of division C and securing promotion into division B of the Northumberland and Durham Tennis league.
Ladies Vets 2: played 5 won 5 (still one game to play). Top of league F and hopefully set for promotion into division E of the Northumberland and Durham Tennis league.

Rod Hall & Jane Cockburn: winners of the Northumberland handicap over 55 mixed
